That looks awesome. Quilters Cache is an awesome website. I wouldn't add another border unless you think it needs to be bigger. Looks great as it is. :D :D :D

Some of the hatchets I've seen the centers look like holes but by keeping the centers light and the fabric colors closely related they don't look that way. I really like yours.

Your quilt looks complete! ... when you bind it, you may want to use a dark color so that it has an "end" ... it's the way I heard it explained on a television quilt show ... I like your quilt. You did a fine job!
As for quilting it, what do you know how to do?
there is nothing wrong with doing a straight stitch in the ditch.
it is interesting, with all of those straight lines that a big stipple all over the place doesn't look out of place at all.
Usually, if you are using Quilter's Cache, they have completed samples they link to ... and, a completed quilt will show up ... did you happen to see anything like that on that website?
and, the other thing you can do is to go to the search function of this board and type in Indian Hatchet ... a number of quilters have completed this pattern and shown pictures of their quilting ... you might get an idea of something you want to do by doing a search.

Beautifal. Just my colors. Does it need a home?
