    What a nice gift. Please pass on my thanks for their service. In 66-67 I read a Dear Abby column about signing up in I think it was Stars and Strips to be a pen pal. I had many to answer and most I did not hear back from but there was one soldier that we continued to exchange letters until he came home. Over the years I found ways to write letters to soldiers.

    Those are gorgeous! It's difficult to even imagine all the work and love that went into those. Lovely keepsakes. Thank you for creating something nice for these folks. That was a tough time with very few positives for the troops.
