Default Quilt shops in Utah??

Heading out on a trip to Montana and going thru Utah. Any quilt shops that would be "to die for" quilt shops to stop at in Utah? My husband is being very generous and patient so will take advantage of shopping at quilt shops. Any help will be really appreciated. My friend told me about a great shop to stop at in Sandy, Utah but wanted to get some feed back on this one. Thank you in advance.

What highways? Are you taking I15 from South to north or taking I80 to 15 from either east or west? It wouldn't help much for me to recommend Superior Threads in St. George (a great place BTW) if you are in northern Utah.

We are headed north on I-15 and coming back I-15 south as far as Sandy, Utah then going over to catch 89 south. Think we will try and catch quilt shops on our way back south from Montana.

Don't know if you're going through St George, but there is a fantastic shop called The Clover Patch in Santa Clara, next to St George. It's on Santa Clara Blvd. Great prices. There is also Scrap Apple Quilts in St George. Then stop for frozen custard at Nielson's on St George Blvd.

From south to north:
Superior Threads is just off I-15 on my the south side of St. George. Wonderful selection of fabrics at a good price. Dave's Bernina in Provo is small but really nice, particularly if you do garment sewing or embroidery in addition to quilting. In the Salt Lake City area, look at Floyd and Lizzy's on 7800 in West Jordan. Wonderful selection of batiks. This is the home of the Tin Lizzy quilting machines. Dane's Cotton Shop on State in Sandy is nice too. There is also a shop in Bountiful on Main Street called Brooks with a very large selection of fabrics. There is also the Handiquilter Headquarters in North Salt Lake. I think they will let you in to drool over the quilts they have all over their walls. I don't think they sell anything there, but the quilt samples are truly world class.

Have fun going through Utah and into Montana (which is probably my favorite spot for a vacation).

Where in Montana are you going? I just stopped at #1 Ladies Quilt shop 34 N Idaho st in Dillon Montana right on I-15. Small but nice selection and the owner was very friendly. I'll be checking out a couple of shops in Idaho Falls, Id this week.

K & H Quilt Shop is just off I-15 in Kaysville, Ut. They are closed on Mondays. Small quilt shop, nice selection, wall displays of finished quilts. Very friendly.

Thank you all for the good selection of quilt shops. Especially thank you Tesspug for the info and I really do love Nielson's custard. Heading out in the morning-can't wait to drool over some fabric shops.
