Homecoming pattern by Shania Sunga Designs
At retreat in April I purchased this kit from the Quilted Bear in Ladner, B.C. Usually I prefer to choose my own fabrics, etc. but glad I got the kit this time as she also designed the fabrics for Cantik Batiks.
I machine quilted along the edges and then did a wave stitch in the white and then in the red and bound it per her instructions with a single fold binding.... a first since starting to quilt in 1993. (and not more than an inch of fabric to spare on the binding) Now I need to store it flat some place until July 1st next year
