what kind of machine do you have?
The 1990's were my decade to try every fabric under the sun as embellishment. Way fun
I don't do any of that any more so if my foot fits your machine you are welcome to it.

I found it worked fine if what was under the foot wasn't too thick.
The roller foot is good too, but on some impressionable things it leaves a trail.

I have one and use it when I sew on plastic and it works Great. I am sure it would work on fabric that kind of sticks to the regular pressor feet. I make the thread catcher bags/with pin cushion and they have the plastic inserts. I was having problems with the regular foot sticking to the plastic and I ordered the Teflon foot off of Amazon and it just glides over the plastic making sewing so much easier.
    Hope that helps.

In a pinch, you can put scotch tape on the bottom of the foot and poke a hole for the needle.

In the 1970's my Elna came with a real Teflon foot and I LOVED it. The plastic "Teflon" feet don't work nearly as well, but I muddle along.

I tried the teflon foot and the walking foot, and got better results with my walking foot. I use it for plastic/vinyl, denim, flannel, minky, binding, leather, etc. Plus I do my best machine quilting with my walking foot. That walking foot is something I don't know how I lived without.

It's great for sewing leather. I have also used it when sewing plastic.

I made several project bags, then using the same pattern made little bags for toys (match box, crayons, small things) that used heavy vinyl. Teflon foot worked great on it!

It helps to sew leather, etc, things that can hang up. Peggy Sagers, who makes clothing and has her own pattern making co and you tube and TV show, she uses it for everything. She says she never uses any other foot unless its like a zipper foor or something.
