I LOVE THIS QUILT! What a treasure you have. In essence, there is three generations working on this quilt for the fourth generation.

Great that you could work on the project with your mom. A wonderful keepsake for your daughter.

Your quilt is beautiful. I love the Sunbonnet Sue quilts. It is on my bucket list. It is so awesome to be quilting with your Mom on your Grandmothers frame. That is just so special & fun. You should print that picture on fabric & attach it to the back with the label. That would make it super special for your daughter. Have fun!

Sunbonnet Sue is one of my favorite patterns.

What a beautiful quilt and memory you and your mom made.

Your daughter is so lucky to have a mom and a grandmother that care enough to make a special quilt just for her. Be sure to give her copies of these pictures along with the quilt or better yet, include the pictures on your label. Precious!

I agree with the others you should make sure you have a copy of this photo. For want of privacy my neighbor won't let me photograph a couple of her quilts. She has a photo of every quilt she has ever made. She has the photo in a frame in the rooms where the quilts are used/reside. I thought it was such a neat idea. On the back of the photo she has another of the label or where it can be viewed. She has impaired vision but still quilts beautifully.

It's beautiful! Love the fabrics. I slept under a Sunbonnet Sue as a child, a quilt my grandmother made, and I'd give anything to still have it. I assume we wore it out and my mother discarded it, but I still remember the colors and the Sues.
