Default My William Morris inspired "More Than Friends" quilt

Some of you may remember this quilt that I was working on for quite some time. I thought I would post the finished pics. This is based on the William Morris inspired "Friends" pattern by Michele Hill from her book "William Morris in Applique". I wanted my version to be larger so I designed the outer border with the scrolling vine on it so that it fit my king size bed. I actually made the center twice because I didn't like the way the first version of it turned out. I modified it from the book pattern as well, and decided to applique an 'L' in the center for my last name to personalize it. All of the applique is fused and then I did a blanket/buttonhole stitch around the edges to secure them. I then quilted it on my Gammill longarm. I recently won 1st Place with it in our county guild's quilt show.
