some time ago, someone posted a cute elf thatthey made. the pattern is no long available. Does anyone know of a pattern. I 'd love one freestanding, like a doll, or even in a quilt. I think tht would be adorable. thanks,

I make elves for Christmas every year. I use the In The Hoop patterns from www.dollsanddaydreams.com. They are made with my embroidery machine. There are also sewing patterns so you don't have to have an embroidery machine to make them. I love these patterns and the instructions walk you through step by step with words and picture. Here is a picture of elves I have made. There are 2 In The Hoop elf patterns and maybe more sewing ones.

Those are adorable. I guess I will have to buy them pattern. This board seems to cost me a lot of money some days:-)

o.k.,now i will make my own pattern if i have the time.
IF I make it My friend Jeanne will take a photo.
I'm still looking for a pattern. Last year, there was a
free pattern in Pintrest, but i don't have a printer, and never found it again.

Thank you everyone for you input
