Just got a book called Skinny Quilts by Kim Schaefer. 15 bed runners, table toppers, and wallhangings.
Have not done anything with it yet but look thru it.

That is a good book. Try just going to the internet looking up 'free bed runner patterns', you'll be surprised what comes up and for FREE!

I often look at larger quilt patterns on free sites or especially in magazines to see if I can adapt it to a bedrunner size. I like mine a little bigger than normal bed runner patterns as we have a king size bed and 2 beagle/terrier siblings have to fit on it with their own "space".

To Nan, thank you for the gorgeous pictures. I have many of the patterns and treasure each one. Skinny Runners is a great book. Take a look on Craftsy for a designer "Annie's Quilt Craft." She has the most beautiful designs. Sharon Keightly from Australia also designs some gorgeous runners although a tad pricey. There are so many free patterns out there so give Google a try and take a look.
