Default Little Girls Pink Quilt Top and my sister's Levi dress

I bought these embroidered girly blocks on line and finally got around to making up a little top from them. I wanted hearts on it and had no fabric with those images. So I appliqued on some. It will have the same medium pink fabric as the backing and I think as the binding. We will see.

I made this levi dress for my sister's birthday next month. We both bought one without tring it on and it hung terrible and we took back to the store. So disappointing! I have a dress making form and ordered a pattern that I altered to fit her perfectly. I hope she likes it. All those french seams took me forever but that will make wearing the dress much more comfortable with no seams inside the dress. Sorry it doesn't hang very well on a hanger. This will look great with her tall boots and an infinity scarf in the fall.

Your quilt is adorable and the dress is lovely. I am sure your sister will be so pleased to receive it.
