    Default Meet Ellie the Elephant

    Hi,
I just finished this baby quilt for my niece and her husband who are expecting a baby at the end of August/beginning of September. She had this vision in her head, so we had to come up with the pattern ourselves. They have one wall of the nursery painted gray with white polka dots, so she wanted gray. We added the green dotted fabric as a nod to them not finding out the gender, and the balloons in the primary colors just for fun (and some bright colors). I machine quilted it in one inch straight lines in both directions. The backing has elephants on it as well. I am really happy with how it turned out. ~smile~
