Lori Holt Be Happy Sewalong
Anyone here doing it? It's kind of cute...but I would not invest in all of her fabric. Could use stash, but might have to buy templates.....

I'm doing the sew along have the flag and the pinwheels done . I'm using my own fabric because I don't want mine to be like all the others.

I bought her first templates and fabrics and it is spendy. I will not be doing another even though they are so cute. I know some people make their own templates.

Yes, I am doing the Bee Happy Quilt with a local class. I did buy the kit this time. Previously I also did the Farm Girl Vintage Girl quilt. Should be fun. I hope to learn a lot.

I just started with this adorable quilt. My quilt store sold me two fat quarter stacks and said that was all i needed. I have since purchased the 10" stacker of the solids but i am having a really hard time getting the rest of the fabric. The fabric listed as Bee Backings and Borders - i have not been able to find all of them and when i do they are only sold in 108" width when i just need a very small amount. I even went to the Riley Blake website and they don't even have all of the fabric and what they do have you have to order large amounts. I really want my quilt to look like hers, but i have already spent $250 and am still missing 12 fabrics. Is there a place i am missing on my search for the Bandana, Sewing Pattern, Plaid and Chick prints? Especially where i don't have to buy so much extra. Teresa
Thanks

I don't see the green bandana fabric any more. I bought a lot of it as I wanted it for the back too instead of the white chick fabric.

Not planning on buying all the fabric suggested....will use my own or what I can find. Easy enough colors, prints, to match. Haven't decided yet if I really want to buy the templates and "jump in".
