I have been working on her for weeks. It is a whole cloth panel and it had only her drawn with black lines and no color. I painted her with Shiva Paintstiks and added detail and texture to her clothing with micro quilting.

Thanks for looking.

Wow, you did an amazing job! Is this going to be something you keep or is it a gift? If it's a gift, someone is going to be very, very lucky indeed!

I wish I could keep her or give her to someone who would appreciate her. I need to sell her to be able to do Chrsitmas at my home this year. With the loss of my job I need to sell most of my quilts.

Oh sweety, ((hugs)), I understand. Well, someone is definitely going to be thrilled to get her! How much do you normally charge for something like her?

I'm sorry to hear you lost your job and hope you either find work soon or win the lottery. :)

She is absolutely lovely. I hope you put her in an upscale shop...she certainly is worth the showing.

She will go for approximately $400-$500. She has so many hours of work I can't even count them, plus the pain and the fine threads. I will bring her tomorrow to a shop in town and will send pics to my friends in NYC in case someone knows someone who may be interested.

I'd say she's definitely worth $500! I hope she goes for the highest price possible and that you and your family have a nice Christmas.

Out of a hope that lemons can make lemonade, could this be an opportunity for you to start your own business? You are definitely talented! Maybe a local quilt store or group would be willing to let you teach a class or two. Heck, I'd love to take a class on the paintsticks from you and I would think there would be others in your area who would be glad to take a class or two. Just a thought.

If I had $500 I would give it to you in a minute!
