How about a skinny orange inner border and a wider blue outer border to pick up all the colors that get lost in the print?

Mary Ellen, I think it looks like a Beatrix Potter. You might google B P prints and find it that way.

IMHO you really hit the jackpot with that skinny orange border! Finish it off as several of the others before me have said with the SAME fabric you used for your sashing and I think you'll be so very pleased . . . as will the recipient!

I like the first photo, especially because it is a quaint check that compliments the sweet, old fashioned print in the block. The orange is good, but it could be any color in the print. It's the check that grabs me.

I liked the orange too (although at first glance thought it was brown -oops). Pretty quilt.

Photo 3, small orange inner border, with green outer border...balances with the colors in your blocks.

It's a sweet little print - let it be seen.

If you want bright - use it for the backing.

I agree, however, if you want to make the center POP, I would use the royal blue as the binding. Love the soft fabric.

I like the orange, too. I really like this quilt. It's so pretty. I missed your other post but this is a winner in my book.

And...to give you my second opinion, if you have enough of it, audition it with the print as others have suggested. I did that with a baby quilt in a class. I was so skeptical but the teacher said it would work. And it really did!
