Question Hi from Cheetah Lover in Winston, Oregon

I just received a hand-me-down Pfaff Grand Quilter Hobby 1200. It has been barely used and never by the person who gave it to me. My question is can it do zig zag stitching around edges? I cannot find the answer in the manual or any indication for it on the machine itself.

I don't know the answer to your question but welcome from Virginia

There are many more educated folks here - hopefully you will get your answer.

I'm giving the link to a web page about the machine. There is a link at the bottom to the pdf of the machine - the info you're looking for should be there...

Good luck!
Welcome to the board.

Welcome from So CA!
In looking over the information on the internet it appears this is a straight stitch machine - it can go extremely fast - 1600 stitches per minute and it can go backwards. But there is a notation that the stitches are under the lid. If you lift up the top, does it show stitch variations?
