That is such a beautiful, creative, idea. You did wonderful work using the doilies and all the stitching you did.

Very pretty, I especially like the red one. And Charisma did great work on the quilting.

I`ve only made one for Charisma . I don`t think she has quilted it yet. It is very simple because of the kind of handkerchief she had. I did put a couple doilies in it to add interest.

Do you leave the doilies whole or do you trim part of them off to avoid bulk under the top? If you trim them. what do you do to keep the part you use from coming unraveled?

I don `t trim the doilies, I just sew them down then cut in half if I need to and sew them to another piece. Thy don t unravel when sewn down. There isn t that much bulk.

They are All Gorgeous GREAT WORK. I wish I could find some colored Hankies. Where is the best place to fine them?
