Default Jane Stickle Quilt complete and on the Bed

This was quite a journey but it's time to move on. I did enjoy working the scallops but I don't think I want to do any more for a while, or at least ones so small. The last row and the final border can be found in the album linked below. ( Even my 3 men said WOW!) These were best shots I could get indoors. After all this time (almost 5 yrs off and on) I couldn't bring myself to risk the rain, the wind, the squirrels etc. You get it.

Just gorgeous! I think I like the border best of all! That's an insane amount of work... good for you, for sticking with it. Now you have a true heirloom.

Hey, I Love your beautiful wood floor!

eta: Just noticed from your album shots that you Hand Quilted this too! Wow, wow, wow!

There should be fireworks when someone finishes a quilt like this. Congratulations on a superb achievement.

That quilt is indeed a statement of your talent, endurance, patience and I bet episodes in your life that only you know, as you worked thru it. Now......what's the next mountain you plan on climbing?
