Wow, just incredibly wow! What a job that quilt must have been to make. The hours it must have taken. Impressive work.

quilts do bring both friendship and love to our lives. Glad you found both the friend and the new home for the quilt. It is a wonderful little quilt. i can't even hold little pieces like that so I really appreciate the care and artistry that went into it.

This is why I took up quilting. It does seem hard to find people who grasp what goes into a quilt. So happy that you were able to share such beauty with someone who appreciates it.
