Do you know how this cabinet/ lift works?
This was the other half of the score the other day at the goodwill. I thought it was for a sewing machine and a serger, but it ends up that the hole on the right is meant to hold a tray to hold notions as you sew.

Three drawers go under that, you can see them on the right. The top flaps are in the finishing spa, getting re-done because they were Not Good On Top. My question is: how does the lift work? I've tried googling and couldn't find one (a custom made Amish one had the notions tray, but a fancy modern lift,) so I am hoping that with all our different ages and locations, one of us here has seen it. I'll go first- it's not me! Thanks for the help!
Here is is in the up position, ready to sew:

This cabinet is meant for machines that are held to the base by a large screw or bolt on the bottom of the machine that holds sort of hook into the base instead of hinges on the back of the machine.
