Default pattern suggestions for these fabrics?

I am currently trying to find a pattern for some Egyptian fabrics with hieroglyphs and colorfully-costumed people rowing "boats." The issue is the boats are too large for a pattern with small pieces and the hieroglyphs too small for a large piece…and I don't have a ton of any of these fabrics.

I am thinking Tumbler and have found online some variations I could work with.

I've considered adding a rusty orange fabric in small quantities, but have not gone looking for anything yet.

I want something relatively quick and easy since I am not good with complicated patterns and I have a few other quilts in the works I really want to finish.

Anything pop out for you skilled and experienced piecers?

    Thanks for your suggestions!

Do you have enough to do Warm Wishes with the figures being the focus fabric and the others in mixed strips?

I think I have a yard of each with more of the blue and the one to the left of the blue - not much but the final size can be whatever it is…a lap quilt would work well. A pattern that has large areas like Warm Wishes is a good suggestion.

I think the size of the quilt would be dictated by the amount of border striped fabric. It is beautiful!

Beautiful fabrics! I just ran across a book called "Maverick Quilts" by Alethea Ballard that might have some ideas for you. The writer uses large florals and novelty fabrics (like your Egyptians) in new ways that hadn't occurred to me. It was less than $7 online and the quilts in it are beautiful.

I had 5 of those, all but 4, 7 &8. I made a pillow using the large print for center, then pieced around it with the smaller Egyptian print surrounded by the hieroglyphs squares & used the brown rickrack looking for a border, and the blue for binding. Sorry, gave it away to friend who loved it then moved away. I did use the remains for a few swaps!
I'm sure you'll do something with it. Those fabrics just scream to be made into something!

First thing that popped into my head was a coin collection pattern that would have mostly small rectangular blocks for the small and solid prints, but be interspersed with large squares to incorporate the boat fabric.

    Something like this:

I'd use the striped fabric for binding.
