Givio, those are some of the ones I made last year. Kass, I think these are like any thing else in quilting. There are some that oversize the pieces, sew and then cut to the right size and then those that cut the right size to begin with and carefully sew that 1/4" seam. I'm not at all accurate with paper piecing so I waste as much fabric as I end up with. I like the rulers and have learned how to use them without any waste or very minimal so I use them when the fabric looks good with that type of block. I didn't do any this year because I forgot to bring them with me and can't really warrant buying another set. Maybe next Boom you'll see some more of them

I'm looking forward to getting these blocks back and making the quilt when I get back to Wyoming. Right now I have 5 to take home and get quilted so they can be done.
