    Default Carolina Chain

Comfort quilt started and finished in January.

Bonnie Hunter's layout is on point, but I like the argyle type effect of the straight setting better. Finished at 72x84 inches. Worked mostly from the neutral and brown scrap basket but threw in a little blue and green for color. It's for a male. I'm hoping he doesn't find it to be too much.

I prefer this setting to on point; if you set it on point all your diagonal rows become straight lines and it sort of defeats the purpose. The colors are perfect - masculine but not boring.

I think it is perfect for a man. Great quilt. I too made this pattern a while ago and set it like yours.
