Hello from Missouri!

Hello! My name is Jacquie and I am from Missouri. I have been sewing/teaching myself to quilt for almost 3 years. I have been with my husband for 35 years, have 1 adult son with Autism, and have worked in Special Education for 22 years. I have stumbled upon the quilting board a few times, but being a newbie, I was not ready to join your board, but after 3 years, I now feel confident enough to join. I love doing Mystery Quilt a-longs, have completed Bonnie Hunter's last 2, and will post a picture of ORL in that thread. I am teaching myself to FMQ on my domestic machine, and truly love it! Thanks for letting me join!

If you have done the last 2 BH mystery quilts, you are officially no longer a novice. We do a kind of quilt along every year for the mystery, so join us next year!

Welcome from Southern California! No matter skill level, you will always learn something new...or a better way to do things...or a new, more efficient/accurate tool to buy....the patterns alone are worth spending time with these people. Very creative bunch of quilters here...

The ORL thread has been lots of fun to follow - look forward to seeing pictures of yours and will post pics of mine when I get around to finishing it!
