Default Anyone else watching Winter Olympics?

We watched the figure skating and some wild skiing last night and the opening ceremony tonight--really liked the Irish team clothes and wow--some others were really bright! And the Jamaican team just danced in--how fun!

looking forward to more figure skating, luge, ice dancing and ski jumping--may not get much quilting done!

Wild skating last night too. Hopefully the athletes have worked out initial jitters. ☺. Loved Jamaica's entrance.

I haven't been able to get into it this time. The horror of the gymnastics dr. molesting so many girls has really made me heartsick. I can't watch Olympics right now.

I actually do watch them but I forgot they were on. I don't watch TV unless it's for something special so I missed the commercials for it. Oh well... I'll tune in for some events but not all of the them. Figure skating and downhill racing, typically...

I'm watching. Figure skating is my favorite sport to watch. I miss the old TV Guide where you knew what was going to be on. For me, I miss some programs of it because I don't know that they are even going to be on.

I'm watching too and I think the adds are so much better than some of the ones on the Super Bowl. I have to have a tissue handy. These athletes are so amazing!

Was so proud when Canada came in. The flag bearers are locals to me!

I have been watching some. I like curling, downhill racing, and speed skating.

However, just a few minutes ago I heard one of the commentators call them heroes. A hero is a person who saves a baby from a burning house.

Having a good time watching curling. I know it has been around for a while, but not in Southern CA where I grew up. Been learning about the ins and outs of it.
