Default Table for embroidery machine

I'm looking for a table or desk for my embroidery machine. It has to be sturdy so the machine won't shimmy. Needs to be fairly wide but doesn't have to be long. Any ideas or suggestions? Thanks

Check out the thrift and second hand stores.

You can often find something that isn't all that pretty, and heavy/solid as can be.
You could easily spiff it up with some fresh paint.

And don't forget to ask friends and colleagues if they have something that they no longer want.

What would be really solid ....... a treadle sewing machine table.
Yes, that is what I would go for because I would love the contrast of the two generations of machines
and the conversation piece it would become.

My desk is an old office (bank) one, with the arborite type of finish on it - sturdy as heck, heavy as heck, and doesn't move - nor does my machine! Likely a surplus office furniture place would have one. Bonus was the drawers along one side and a shelf along the other side/back to put supplies on. The drawers are full of my spools of thread.

I'm using a thrift store table that was $25 for my EMB machine. I painted the legs white and DH cut a hole for cord and pedal cord with a round hole saw. A plastic desk grommet was purchased to finish the hole.

My other two tables are H0N U*tility tables. One is 20x60 and the other is 30x60. These two are arranged in an "L" shape. All three tables are sturdy and without wibble/wobbles.

My cutting table is 24x72 workbench with a butcher block top. It is white with adjustable legs.
