Default A Summer Day at Sea

I had posted some design questions wrt this quilt earlier so I thought some of you might be interested in seeing the finished product. I plan to hang it somewhere at my lake house. The sailboats still look like sea serpents wearing hats, but I like it.

I did not see sea serpents, either. Don't tell, and it will just be your secret!

    Beautiful quilt!

I love the final result. I like how the swirling quilting gives the impression of a breeze. The addition of the boat row definitely makes them look like boats, however, I think all sea serpents should wear colorful hats!

What a bright, happy quilt! Perfect for a lake house. I love your swirl quilting, too. Could I ask how you do your quilting? Long arm or dsm?
