    Default Today's finish!

Put the last stitch in the binding this afternoon and she's ready for a trip through the washer and then into the mail to be sent to my dear mother as a gift.

Last fall, I posted a medallion quilt link asking for guidance on how to alter the dimensions from a square to a rectangle design. I was overwhelmed by the gracious offer of another QB member, Gay, who kindly worked her magic to create "Serendipity Surprise" - a design inspired by Kimberly Bourne's Serendipity pattern/kit.

Thank you so much Gay for all of your help - my mother is sure to love it!

    Christine
