I almost always use warm and natural batting, but purchased warm and white batting for a particular quilt that has lots of white in it. It seems to be thinner than w/n; looked up product information and says it is the same oz. weight, but the white may seem less "lofty" because of the bleaching process. I really don't want this quilt to be so thin; have any of you that has used the white noticed a difference and does it fluff up a little more after being washed and dried? Thanks for your responses.

I use it quite often and haven't noticed any difference between it and W&N once it's inside the quilt.

Sorry, I was a W&N girl until I tried Quilter's Dream. I tacked my W&N up on the wall to use as a design wall (works great!) and haven't looked back. The QD is absolutely dreamy - it has a lovely drape, is fluffy, and quilts beautifully.

I use W&W and W&N almost exclusively and don't see a difference either in the finished quilt.

I don't see a difference either. But I have always wondered what is natural about the beige batting. Cotton is naturally white. Bright white. I prefer the white.

I use W&N all the time and have noticed no difference. Love it because the quilt seems to attach itself better to the batting and therefore makes for less movement of the quilt top. Also you don't have to quilt it so close together.

I grabbed 12 craft size packs of warn & white at JoAnn's this week that was on clearance for $4.84 each for baby quilts for Project Linus. They quilt as well as warn and natural, but will admit that they do feel thin. Haven't washed the two baby quilts I have finished yet....let's hope they fluff up.

I'm with you, Peckish about Quilter's Dream! Unfortunately, I bought several W & N batts on sale and suspect they will go to the next guild garage sale.
