Default quilt for a veterinarian's office

Does anyone have ideas where I might fine quilt patterns for a veterinarian's office? I want to make something special for my vet who has done so much for our family.

I have found a number of adorable ideas from kids coloring pages. I made this for Jim a few years back. maybe you could find a picture of something such as a puppy getting an exam.

I made this quilt and gifted it to my vet. The quilt now hangs in the waiting room of the veterinary practice. You can easily only make a couple of blocks for a wallhanging

"Bali Cats" pieced and quilted by feline fanatic

Pattern can be found here: http://www.citystitcher.com/quilts.php

They have several very cute cat and dog patterns, both applique and pieced.

Another great source for cat and dog patterns are Janet Kime's books, The Cat's Meow, It's Raining Cats and Dog and Christmas Cats and Dogs

This is a really cute and easy fusible applique pattern

Sharlene Jorgenson has a cute Scottie (pieced) pattern in one of her books.

I think the patterns are still free on the net but Feline Frenzy and Dog Daze are really cute patterns.

If your veterinarian is more than cats and dogs, this panel would work for a farm animal oriented one. The pattern is free on their website and looks really cute done up.

awesome use of the NY block...love it. And, of course, amazing quilting.

I love Elizabeth Hartman's patterns, especially Dogs in Sweaters.

What a nice thing for you to do! I make quilts to be auctioned at a Humane Society fundraiser and it was pointed out to me that although the quilts depicting dogs or cats sold really well, the rabbit and bird people were feeling left out - so if your vet has a general practice, you could consider a wide variety of animals!
