    Default A quilt 89% done
    Pattern is called Thorny Crown from Judy Martins book called Scrappy, Blocks & Quilts. I ran out some fabric. You'll see in the quilt. All I'm going to do is add strips to the top and bottom, to make it longer. And add a 5 1/2'' to the L/R sides. And call it finished. The 1st row I sewed on my baby lock. Had to take it in to get some minor repairs. The last 5 rows, I did on my singer feather weight.     Good idea about adding borders...will keep design confined.......how many hours a day do you sew/piece/quilt?

    I happen to like the little pops of color. Wonderful quilt so far, can't wait to see it all done!

    You are working your way through Judith Martin’s entire collection of patterns! Another very pretty quilt-I like the unexpected pops of color!
