Default Feather Quilt

Hope you enjoy viewing my feather quilt. I have had a deep interest in American Indian history for a long time, and I think that is why this pattern appealed to me. It did not call for a border but I needed one to make the quilt large enough for my queen bed. It was much more challenging to do the colored part of the feathers than I anticipated.

That is striking, and unique! I have never seen another one like it. (I am part Mohican.)

Great job! How wonderful to find a quilt pattern that so reflects your other interests.
