Default Log Cabin Adventure!

Finally got this pattern nailed! I started with a regular log cabin and then went OCD! I Love the one that is with the blues and looks like it is a running section, but looks out of focus because of the light blocks outer fabric. Bad choice.. But like the courthouse too ... and the multi colored one ...and ok, yes, I like them all. yes, I got overly obsessive, but I had fun! Have another one under way, don't think I have seen the last of them. They are for the charity I sew for.
Thanks for looking.

So much fun to play with log cabin arrangements. But I know exactly what you mean about the OCD. It took me forever to decide on which LC pattern to use for my sister's quilt. Even after I decided, I turned all the blocks again, and finally went back to the one I kept feeling "settled" on. It was the pattern in your first photo there.

For your next log cabin, try arranging the blocks like a carpenter's star (I think that's the name). Anyway, I made a star quilt out of log cabins and loved putting it together.

All I can say is WOW! All of them are lovely. I love Log Cabin quilts and am amazed at how they can be changed a bit and set in so many ways. Keep up the great work as you quilt for charitable causes or for yourself.
