    Default tote bags

While finally cleaning, came across a box with some of my Mom's clothes. ( She passed away in 2005.) There was a blouse, it was checkered with daisies on it. I always thought one day I'll do something with it. just never knew what.
I finally got brave and cut it up.
And made 2 tote bags. one for me.. and one for my sister.

I didn't have a pattern, just did my own thing.

I am sure your sis is going to enjoy her bag as much as you will. Good for you to make these bags from your mom's shirt. I have made some things from mom's old wardrobe too. I know how hard it is to make that first cut.

How pretty and happy the bags turned out. Wonderful.

Those are beautiful and a wonderful remembrance of your mother. I’ll have to keep this in mind for some of my mother’s clothes.
