Default First Quilt I Quilted on My New-to-Me Longarm!

I was finally able to purchase a used long arm quilting machine after years of dreaming about owning one. This is the first quilt I quilted on the machine. I tend to lean toward wanting everything perfect so after the first row I stopped and spent the rest of the evening reviewing it and trying to decide if I should rip out the stitches or what! I slept on it and the next morning I just decided to just go with it and let this be a learning opportunity so I had fun learning to control the curves, experimenting with different designs, etc. It's all free hand (is this the term for making up designs as I go and not using a quilting pattern)? So here are pictures! It was so fun and I feel like I have a huge toy!

You did a fantastic job on your first long arm quilt. Love the pattern & colors of the quilt. I'm so in awe of people like you who can just think up quilting patterns as they go. My brain just does not work like that. Keep having fun with your new machine.
