Default Our annual camping trip to Island Park

We so look forward to our annual camping trip in our 5th wheel to Island Park, ID. This year it was wonderful. We stayed in the woods (dry camping) for about 5 weeks this year. We love it!
My husband fishes for 4 or 5 hours every morning that the weather permits, and I set up my sewing room in my 5th wheel during this time. The first week we about froze to death, but thank goodness it warmed up. The fishing was not really good this year, but my husband still went out almost every day, and tried. In the meantime, I just quilted and quilted, and really got quite a few baby quilts finished. Here are a few pictures:

I used Farmer's Daughter fabrics from Moda for this one. This is a new pattern to me, and I think I will probably make more.

I can't remember the name of this fabric, but I sure love it. It features flowers and turtles and frogs and bright cheery fabrics.

I used Heather fabrics from Shabby Fabrics for this quilt.

The fabric for this quilt is Home Sweet Home and it features a 3 bear family and a little blonde girl.

I smiled the whole time I worked on this one. Fabric is Monster Mischief from Stonehenge.

Well, I used up my picture limit on this post, and I still have more quilts to show. I will do another post shortly.

Default Our annual camping trip to Island Park - Continued

I used Pepper and Flax fabrics on this quilt. I think this is one of the cutest patterns I own for a baby quilt. It is called Mommy and Me.

I can't remember the name of this fabric. I always save a piece of selvage, but this one must have got lost in the 5th wheel.

The salvage piece got lost for this one, too. It always amazes me that you can lose things in such a small space, but it sure happens a lot with us. A couple of years ago we lost a 3 lb can of coffee. Still haven't found it, so the chance of find the selvage for these quilts is probably not good.

I didn't get any camping pictures this year, and I feel bad about that. The wildflowers were awesome this year because it has been pretty wet. That is the good new. The bad news is that the mosquitoes were out in force. I saw a note on Facebook the other day that I really liked. "I wish Noah had swatted those 2 mosquitoes"! Loved it.

I loved the monster fabric. I was thinking it would make a good I Spy quilt for a child learning their colors. Like - I spy a red monster - I spy a purple monster with orange eyes, etc. Wouldn't that be fun!!
