Default Where to find certain fabrics?

Hello all. As I posted in the introduction page, I am new to quilting. I have been to several classes, watched innumerable YouTube videos, and practiced everything for hours and hours. I have finally decided what my first project is going to be and what fabric I want to use. I was in a quilt shop a few weeks ago and ran across a Moda collection that I love. I bought everything they had of it. I looked it up online and ordered the other pieces that I could find. There are 2 more that I want, but can't find anywhere that has them for sale. Are there any places online that I should check that might not come up on Google searches? I assume I'm going to have to go outside of the collection, but I'd rather not. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

What fabric are you looking for? Have you tried Etsy and eBay?

I have found that I like the results much better when I supplement a particular line with outside fabrics. It makes the quilt less static.

My go-to sources are fabrics.com, Fat Quarter Shop, Keepsake Quilting. However, I agree with Lisa. Supplementing a line of fabrics with some from outside that line can add a lot of interest. Since you are looking for Moda, have you checked the Moda website?

Welcome to the board!! As others have mentioned do look at other lines within the manufacturer. I love French General from Moda. So, if I’m short a fabric from say La Vie En Rouge, I will look to see what’s available in different French General Line and they work well together because I have found the colors to be consistent within a specific line. Don’t forget to show us your finished project !

Count me in!! I agree with supplementing with fabric outside of that line. I sew bindings on professionally and find that client quilts that are made entirely from one single line of fabric are not as interesting as quilts made from multiple lines of fabric.

However, having said that, if you still want those particular pieces of fabric, search for the specific sku number for the fabric prints you want, not just the manufacturer and line names. You can usually find the sku number on the Moda website.

I was going to suggest Fabric.com and etsy I have found some good items on both of them.

I have also just googled the Moda line and was able to find other shops that have what I am looking for

If you provide the name I may have time to look. I am always up for looking at fabric

    Good Luck

I have searched Moda and by the sku. No luck. Everyone seems to be out of these two. I have no problem going outside of the collection. My only fear is that I am not smart enough to pick something that flows with it.

Have you tried Quiltshops.com? They've been a big help to me at times.

It is 31500-11 of Eliza's Indigo by Betsy Chutchian. FYI: quiltersanon.com has it listed, but messaged me that it was out of stock after I ordered it.
