Default brainstorming christmas parade float ideas

I own a quilt shop and am thinking my float in the christmas parade this year will read something like "Baby, it's cold outside....so grab a quilt" or "baby, it's cold outside...cuddle with a quilter" Got any other ideas or how to decorate a float like that??

I think the first one is good. Maybe snow related quilt themes, one of those portable fires with quilted stockings?

How about "Baby, it's cold outside ... cuddle up with a quilt"? I like the idea of having "cuddle" in there, but for me the second one conjures up a picture of me watching the parade and someone I don't know coming up to me trying to cuddle. Probably not what most people are getting out of it, but it was what came to my mind when I read it.

For the visual, I think it'd be cute to have dogs and cats sleeping on top of quilts. Or maybe reindeer since it's for Christmas.

How big is your float? How much space/landscape do you want/need to fill?

Will you have humans on it? Moving parts?

How cold is it (usually) at the time of the parade

How many units (usually) in the parade? Is it a big deal in your area?

Oh what fun! I like the ideas you're getting. Like the fireplace, an easy chair with a person in the chair cuddled in a quilt … maybe doing some hand quilting? Live animals might be a bit tricky.

I didn't mean live animals, I meant ones made out of chicken wire and tissue paper, or whatever they're making floats out of these days.

"Baby, it's sew cold outside, make yourself a cuddle." Then show how a quilt is made.

I like the first one, "grab a quilt". Could you have friends that could ride on the float, standing or sitting wrapped up in quilts???

If you could have an older person wrapped in a quilt on a chair near a fireplace, then have a young couple
walking around on the float, then find a quilt and cuddle up in it. I would have quilted stockings, a quilt
above the fireplace, and maybe more around, or nice fabric to make a quilt. You could staple (I hate to
staple) fabric and a pattern to show them you have both. Good luck with it!

I have seen fat quarters folded up and standing up in a pretty basket to give gift ideas. Maybe you could hang a xmas wallhanging up for all to see.
