Default Fox Collage

I have finally finished my fox collage! I bought the Laura Heine pattern and made my own changes to the pattern. I enjoyed trying collage work and feel quite addictive to it. Such fun! Sorry the picture isn't great. Not much light today so hubby hung it over the range hood as the kitchen was brighter than the rest of the house. LOL! After this learning curve I can't wait to try some more collage work!

That turned out so great! Your fox has the most melancholy eyes. Great job, amazing it’s your first one. I look forward to seeing more from you.

that's great! you really captured his sad eyes! So you just used a pattern and not a kit? Was it difficult to pick out fabric from your stash to get the collage effect? That's the part that intimidates me.

Beautiful collage fox. Yes, it is addictive. One of the things I noticed, after I had done one (the owl for my granddaughter) I looked differently at my scraps. Now, they look like interesting pieces for a collage rather than just strips and squares. I hope you choose another collage project soon.

You did a fabulous job! Collage is on my list of new things to try...you can tell you enjoyed the process and your fabric placement was perfect.

Wow! That is just a wonderful Fox. His sad eyes are just beautiful and his coloring is just perfect. I live in the part of Illinois called “Fox Valley” so we see them here.
