Default not my best effort

…but then I think it will be well-received.
The jelly roll was not the best fabric, I discovered, and so my 1/4" seams did not take into account the variation in fabric widths. Good thing it is so busy -- you can't see the unmatched seams.
Since it was covered in dog hair, I decided that as a gift, I should wash it. Came out pretty well, along with another quilt I made some time back and had never washed. Those Color Catchers did the trick, though I can see no fading!
Machine pieced and hand quilted with a random pattern I drew out as a template. It wasn't a difficult pattern but I kept getting turned around with it and had to redo several sections.
Initially I tried machine quilting. What a disaster; so I ripped it all out.
The backer is a plain muslin and the binding is from my small stash. The color in these photos is way more yellow than in reality.
The pattern is Round and Round from "Strip Savvy" by Kate Henderson. With some changes to the sashing...
