Default Taking a quilting vacation

Starting tomorrow morning at daybreak I will be on a 5 day quilting vacation in my sewing room. My family and friends have all been for warned to not call or visit, unless its a major emergency.

That's a great chunk of time. What are your plans to accomplish?

Good for you!! Enjoy the sewing time and it seems like you can just make the world go away when you are in your sewing mode. Have tons of fun

I love that idea! If only I could get the cats to participate, I know my hubby would be ok with it. Ugh, sounds like heaven really!

May you find your joy!

When I was a single working parent I decided that since Thanksgiving wasn't an important day for me but was a big day for my son's father, that he could have our son every Thanksgiving. I was always working on a quilt for a Christmas present and so I spent Thanksgiving in blissful quiet, alternating sewing/quilting with bubble baths. Good times for which I was truly thankful
