Default most difficult quilt

I made this wall hanging for my DIL for Christmas. I like the way it turned out, but oh so many pieces! It was definitely a challenge for me!

Very cool! I haven't tried a mosaic quilt yet. Yours turned out lovely.

Cute rooster! I don’t like lots of small applique either, I have trouble sewing on the tiny pieces.

It was designed as a fusible applique. I think the designer was Florine Johnson, maybe? she has lots and lots of rooster patterns to pick from. Now that I kind of know what I am doing, I would like to make another one.

Great looking rooster. He looks like he's king of the barnyard.
