Blue Stars of January

This is my first finish of the year. I used about 5 fat quarters and other misc sizes of batiks I had on hand. Found that border fabric at Goodwill a while back and was surprised to find it worked so well. I just did a gentle wave quilt motif with my walking foot. Harder that it looked, but I do like how it turned out. Thanks for looking.

Oh that's beautiful. You did a great job. The border fabric is terrific with the others.

I think it's fantastic! I love the blues. I need to go to Goodwill more often, but usually here, it's prices are too high.

Very pretty. I really like how you set the stars interspersed with the squares. Really does look like a night sky. Wonderful distribution of different blues and some purples. Great find on that border fabric too!
