The decorative stitches definitely enhange the beauty of the design. I'll try to keep that in mind when I try an applique. Beautiful!

Love the owl and his catch, too! Your variegated colors and stitching really ramp up the texture .

I love the owl especially with the moon. You also choose great colors for the background. Done with care and great syiching
