Default First Place Guild Challenge

Our guild has a Past President's Challenge every year and I was so lucky this year to win First Place with my entry. This year we had to show a picture of our inspiration and it had to be quilted. I have always wanted to try confetti quilting so figured I would try it. The trees are the confetti part the rest I just cut pieces for the tree trunks and branches, the stream and the cabin. I used a print for the rocks and the deer, and used 2 layers of batting for the rocks and stuffed the deer. I was so happy with how it turned out I thought it would be good for the challenge but didn't expect to win.

Great work. I like your art quilt very much-everything about it. I am glad you tried new techniques-that makes a challenge exciting. I am happy for your win.
