Default Possible Eldredge/National machine????

I was gifted this pretty little machine. I don’t think it would take much to make it work. I need identity so I can get a throat plate, bobbin case, & bobbins. Also....the bobbin winder is unique & needs something to make it function. Help appreciated.

Frister and Rossman came to mind at first view. The one shown on the video below is a transverse shuttle instead of your vibrating shuttle though. (like mine) Love the old clawfoots and the Handcrank.

Most of it is National. The bobbin winder looks German. There are lots of National parts on ebay and Bonanza. You just want to make sure the slide is from the same model as yours. You want the short National shuttle and bobbin compared with the long. The long is not common except as Boye brand 22. The short is Boye 13 if you prefer new old stock to used. The rubber tire on the winder engages the handwheel. The winder needs a new tire and a cleaning so it turns easily. Here is a good National model reference:

Nationals are relatively easy to get parts for. The short slide plate may be a problem, but you could get a regular size one and cut it down.

I suspect that bobbin winder is not original to the machine.
