    Default Bought a New Machine

    Wow, this is some machine!

Bernina 770 QE. After much thought I decided on this one. The only thing it doesn't do is cook dinner
I have a 150 QE that I absolutely love and have had no problems with. The one time I had to take it in for a repair was when I flew over some pins and ruined the hook. Not sure what I'll do with it as I still love it but this new one is amazing. My Bernina shop is offering a lot of classes as there is much I probably need to learn and my next-door neighbor works there and is always willing to help.

My first project on my new machine is my granddaughter's quilt. She's due in September and is the first baby on both sides! Add to that I have 3 sons so I'm really excited for a girl!

An FYI for other owners- Youtube has many tutorials on this machine. That is my favorite website!

So happy for you Susie! I can't imagine the excitement of such a wonderfully equipped new machine! And your first granddaughter, too! Congratulations to you

I'll be interested in how you come along with the 770QE - I have a Juki TL (similar to yours) and picked up a Janome that I just don't like so I've been looking at and drooling over the Bernina 7 & 8 series machines. Please keep us up on your progress with the 770QE and can't wait to see pics of your new grand later this year, too!

How exciting Susie! I have an older Artista 180 and I love that machine! I'd consider keeping the 150 for a backup.

Enjoy your new machine and your 3 granddaughter when she arrives.

Congratulations Susie...I hope you bond with your 770 as wonderfully as I did two years ago. Sewingmastery.com also has great videos on the 770 from unboxing it to the embroidery module (if you got it). Happy sewing!
