Default Finally getting up the nerve

I have procrastinated long enough in putting my Long Time Gone quilt on my new LA. I decided it would be a good quilt to practice ruler work on so I am just going to take my time and, hopefully, enjoy the experience while I practice my ruler techniques.

Wow - look at all the work that went into assembling that masterpiece! Its beautiful!!!

Please keep us up to date on how the ruler work went? I have not attempted that as yet, but have seen a number of very interesting rulers out there that i might like to try if i get brave enough!

Just what i need... more rulers (ruler storage and the zillions of rulers we seem to accumulate over our quilting lifetime was a subject sheepishly discussed recently in another thread)!

Oh my goodness, your LTG is spectacular! My eyes keep scanning all of the beautiful details and color - super job! Funny how procrastination and nervousness can creep in at times but I'm certain once you get going you're really going to enjoy yourself on your shiny new Q! I can hardly wait to see pics of your finish. Relax and enjoy the process

Beautiful work! I can see why you'd want to take your time on it.

Gorgeous quilt. I'm sure you'll do a good job with your ruler work.
