    Default My UFO ?

Back in 2015 I won a quilt kit. It's was hexies and diamonds and as I had just finished hand stitching another quilt I thought I'd give this a try. I quickly learned I hated it. I hated the colours, I hated the process and I hated the awkwardness of stitching those hexies and diamonds together.
So I gave it way, and to sweeten the pot I offered to quilt this thing.
Well it came back to me 4 1/2 yrs later. My friend added a triple border to make it a queen size. I'm not going to say I like it now but......... May it have a long life..... in her house.

Hooray for being done and hooray for friends. It's gorgeous but when it isn't any fun -- then it just isn't any fun!

That's really pretty! I do like hand work and have almost finished my scrappy learning to do EPP quilt top. Maybe I'll consider something like this next.

I like the quilt but I can see why you didn't want to make it. You did a lovely job quilting it.

What a delightful story in that this 'traveling quilt' has made it's way full circle to say hello! I think it's a wonderful quilt and your quilting is perfect!
