Default 1/4” marked washi tape-Diagonal Seam Tape

I just ordered a few rolls of this-one for me, and a few to share. It looks very easy to use. My old Perfect Angles is getting pretty beat up. Not affiliated in any way with this.....

interesting, but the recommendation is to remove it with each project to prevent residue on the machine bed

I always remove my Angler each day anyway-i use blue painters tape to attach it, but i don’t want any residue. I will only use this for HST...hate drawing those lines!

I ordered mine about a month ago, two rolls at a time... it arrived quickly. It may take me forever to use it all up.

I used painter's tape a couple of years ago. Still there, still works.

I use a ruler and ruler foot to sew HST from a square. Place the ruler diagonally across the square and the stitch line will be 1/4" away. Just make a few test pieces to check you are getting the 1/4" seam that you want before you start.

If I'm in a rush, I've been known to use a small cutting ruler against the normal foot. Checking the needle position before I start. There are no issue with the foot jumping onto the ruler if you go steadily.
