Default Some simple Quilting ideas

Here is the picture of a table runner I'm constructing. I'm going to experiment with machine quilting using 12 guage spaghetti thread in contrasting colors. I'm going to ditch the blocks (using finer thread) and want to use my walking foot to do simple but visually effective straight and curved lines in the heavier bright thread. Does anyone have any ideas on what I could do? I don't want heavy quilting, but I want the quilting to fit into the overall design of the quilt. Please note, I do not do free motion quilting. Only straight line and ditching.

Thanks in advance.

I do not have any idea on how to quilt it but just wanted to tell you your table runner is so beautiful. It is so colorful and bright. Your border fabric is such a nice finish. Beautiful workmanship

I would do echo quilting and possibly some waves in the larger units

Spaghetti really stands out, a lot. Just keep this in mind. When completed it will look like back stitch embroidery. If all you do is walking foot quilting, I would do piano keys in the border. I have other ideas but I would need to know what parts of the piecing you want to emphasize. Also do you plan on matching thread color to your fabric or using a contrasting color? You really need to plan this very carefully when using Spaghetti. Oops just re read you plan on using contrasting color. In that case the quilting and thread is going to play the starring role while your piecing is going to be supporting cast.

I don't have any opinion on quilting as I only do meandering or ditch quilting. Your table runner is beautiful. Can I ask the name of the pattern?
